Test Overview
The Cutis Laxa Gene Panel is a molecular genetic test used to identify pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants in genes associated with cutis laxa and related connective-tissue disorders. These conditions may cause loose, sagging skin along with abnormalities involving the blood vessels, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, bones, or other organs.

Sample Required

Interpretation
Results are classified according to established variant-interpretation guidelines. A detected pathogenic or likely pathogenic variant may help establish a molecular diagnosis, while a negative result does not completely exclude a genetic disorder.
