Overview

The Culture & Sensitivity (C&S) test for Body Fluid is performed to detect aerobic bacterial infections in sterile body fluids such as pleural, peritoneal, pericardial, synovial, or other body fluids. The test identifies the disease-causing bacteria using conventional microbiological methods and determines the most effective antibiotics through Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST).
