What is the CD117 (Myeloid Marker), Bone Marrow Test?
CD117 (also known as c-KIT) is a cell surface marker detected by Flow Cytometry on a bone marrow sample. It helps identify immature blood-forming cells (blasts) and supports the diagnosis and classification of various blood cancers and bone marrow disorders.
